I started teaching when I was working as a research assistant at my university because I wanted to pass on the knowledge that I gained. I teach general sciences related subjects, mainly to biology, chemistry and human health. Math is not just a subject but a passion for me. By missing the passion for teaching and mathematics, I have taught at over six different schools till now. I also offer private tutoring sessions that can either be online or in-person. I deal with students from all curriculums and varying grades or stages.
Math is a subject that can not be learnt through memorization, rather, it should be understood through logic and concepts. I follow a similar belief in my classes as well. I am dedicated to making my students gain a better understanding of all the mathematical terms and concepts underlying the hard to solve problems or even the easier ones.
Math was surely not my favorite subject because to be honest I never really understood it properly but it was sir Shan’s tutoring lessons that helped in gaining a better understanding of the subject.
He has been a great help during my preparation for the SAT exam. The math part in the exam seemed like a nightmare to me but he made it easier to prepare for it.
